10 Different Ways to Apps Smash
Presenters: Jenny Krzystowczyk & Ann Feldmann
Come learn how to use more than one app to move from ordinary to extraordinary! Create a superhero story of yourself, fly over the Earth and take a screen annotate over a map and pop it into a Keynote, create your own avatar to introduce yourself, and use real world images to understand geometry!
The ability to combine two or more apps together increases student engagement, critical thinking, and creativity. Understanding the workflow on an iPad becomes obvious when apps are used together. This session is a hands on, collaborative, high paced session meant to engage all participants. This is not a sit and get session.
In this session, participants will be given hands on tasks to understand how to smash two or more apps together to create a curriculum-centered product. Participants will need an iPad and some of the apps that will be used. (See the list below.) We can also bring a few iPads for those who may not have an iOS device to use.
